Let’s talk about testimonials… but not in the way the business world usually does.
For a moment, let’s set aside the strategies and the marketing checklists. Let’s talk about what it truly means when someone puts into words what your presence, your care, or your work has done for them.
A testimonial isn’t just “proof.” It’s a moment of truth — a reflection of the safe space you’ve held for someone. It’s a mirror showing you that you mattered, that something inside you reached something inside them… and created change.
But asking for these words? That can feel vulnerable. Awkward, even. I get it.
If you’ve ever felt unsure how to ask, or afraid of seeming pushy, or worried about what others might say… you’re not alone.
In my 𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟯-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, I want to share a different way. A way that feels gentle. Safe. Aligned with your values.
Because when done from the heart, asking for testimonials isn’t a transaction — it’s a conversation of gratitude.
And today, I just want to say this:
You are allowed to ask for acknowledgment.
You are allowed to receive it.
And you are allowed to let that light remind you of your purpose.
𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 — not just for your practice, but for the people reading them, searching for hope.
